Ladies Circle Luxembourg has been chartered on April 2nd 2005 by women who wanted to have fun an meet new people.
Our members included women aged 18-45 from a wide range of occupations, some are professionals, some are self-employed, while others are working mums or full-time mums.
As Luxembourg is very international, we have members of different origins (Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Spain …). Our official language during our meetings is French.
One of our major objectives is to charter additional Circles in Luxembourg and the idea is to create an English spoken Circle. Besides being Circle members, the one thing we have in common is in having a good time and putting our energies and resources together to realise the projects. Everything we do, we do with fun!
Each person gets different things our of Circle. It could be the stimulating atmosphere of new friends, the excitement of new activities or it may be just a sense of achievement that you have helped others by contributing to the social projects and fundraising with fun an friendship.
Besides being a women between 18 and 45, probably the only other criteria for joining is being a like-minded person who wants new challenges and new horizons. After an initial period as our guest, you will be able to consider full membership and asked to pay the annual subscription. Then all you have to do is enjoy attending our meetings, you have the freedom to join in whenever you like.
Joining Circle could be one of the best things you ever do. After you’ve joined us, you may wonder what you ever did with your life before. Why not give us the opportunity of showing you the sort of fun you could be having now? Our programmes are varied. We meet every 3rd week in the restaurant ‘Beim alen Turm’ in Mersch or sometimes even at a ladies home.
Our social events might include theatre, cinema, paries, wine tasting or even international visits. Fundraising includes selling of olive oil, nail files or bells, but may also be a participation to an event as ‘Laaf fir den Broschtkriebs’, …
We also support local, national and international charities.
